TV Shop is the forty-fifth episode of the third season of Bluey.
Synopsis[]
At the chemist, Bluey and Bingo and their friends have fun playing with the CCTV screens.[1]
Episode Recap[]
Warning Spoilers!
Bandit picks Bluey up from school. On the way back, Bluey mentions that Coco was out sick today. Bandit says he wants to stop at the chemist to pick up some vitamins. He says he has been feeling like an old man. Bluey and Bingo ask him what the chemist does, and they get confused with the chemist and the bakery.
At the chemist, Bluey and Bingo discover that the store's security camera feeds are displayed on screens mounted around the store. After showing off for the cameras for a few moments, the feed changes, and they spot Coco waiting by the pharmacy. They try to get her attention, but she doesn't look up.
The feed changes again, this time showing the Terriers. They are bored stiff as their mum shops for lipstick. Again, Bluey and Bingo try to get their attention, and this time it works. They jump around a bit.
The feed changes again - showing Winton, shopping with his dad. They get Winton's attention, and he does a dance for the camera. In an effort to get Coco's attention, Bluey and Bingo join in. The camera feed changes to the Terriers, and they join in too. It doesn't work, though. After a few moments, one of the Terriers knocks over a display of toilet paper, prompting a scolding from his mum.
Giving up on getting Coco's attention, Bluey decides they need to locate her. Bingo goes off to look, with Bluey guiding her by gesturing for the security cameras. Bingo doesn't find Coco, but she does find Winton and the Terriers. They team up to find Coco, and split up to cover more ground. They have no luck (though Cornelius and the Terriers' Mum seem to have hit it off in the background).
Bingo finally wanders into the pharmacy waiting area - but she is on the wrong side of a shelf, and misses her. At this point, Bandit has bought his vitamins and is ready to go, but Bluey wants to check on Coco before they leave. Bandit points directly at Coco, who is just to the right of where Bluey was standing, on the other side of a newspaper rack.
She runs to Coco, and over the security cameras, we see them dance. Scattered around the store, Winton and the Terriers join in. Bandit sheepishly bounces, too embarrassed to really dance.
Leaving the shop, Bandit asks how Coco was. Bluey says she thinks Coco does have bum worms, causing Bandit to slam on the brakes.

Trivia[]
- This was the second episode to be given a sneak peek by ABC Kids's Youtube Channel.[2]
- Mackenzie, Pretzel, Chloe, and Snickers can be seen playing Barky Boats from the episode of the same name.
- Jack and Rusty are seen playing Army.
- This marks the first appearance of Terriers' Mum.
- Though she is credited as "Terrier's Mum".
- A call back to Bumpy and the Wise Old Wolfhound is made when Bingo says that she wants "Bum Worms".
- Intestinal worm treatments for humans do come in chocolate form[3].
- It is implied that Cornelius may have a crush on the Terriers' Mum and vice-versa, seen through some moments:
- At the beginning of the episode, as Bandit and the girls are heading to their car, we can see Winton's dad and the Terriers' mum sharing a look, as the former comes to get Winton and him even dropping a smile.
- When Winton's dad encounters the Terriers' mum, he refreshes his breath when encountering her before going to talk to her.
- While talking with one another, it is possible to see the Terriers' mum touching Winton's dad's arm as she gets closer to him, while he tries to hide the content of his basket possibly out of embarrassment for what he has in it.
- This would conflict with Cornelius' known girlfriend which may imply they have broken up.
- A clip on the official Bluey Instagram page for The Sign has one of the Terriers tell Winton that their mom likes his dad, which implies that the attraction is mutual and lasts past this episode.
- License plate gags:
- Bella's car license plate reads "2MNYKIDS" ("Too many kids").
- This is a reference to Bella having nine children, as showed in "Baby Race".
- Terriers' Mum's car license plate reads "TERRIER".
- This is a reference to how her kids are collectively known as in their kindergarten class.
- Cornelius' car license plate reads "LVLYJBLY" ("Lovely-jubbly").
- This is a reference to Markets, the one episode where Cornelius speaks.
- Bella's car license plate reads "2MNYKIDS" ("Too many kids").
- Through the car back window decals belonging to the Terriers' mum and Winton's dad, it is possible to notice the situation of their respective families:
- The Terriers' mum's car back window has four decals to represent her and the triplets, suggesting that the Terriers' dad is not in the picture and their mum is either single, divorced or widowed.
- Cornelius' car back window has three decals, where two represent him and his son, while the third one is scratched off, possibly representing Winton's mum and implying that the boy's parents are divorced.
- This fact had already been hinted in "Helicopter", where Winton tells that his parents live in different houses.
- The way the decal is scratched off may suggest that the divorce was recent and possibly not very friendly.
- The episode was originally set in an off-licence with Bandit getting some wine, rather than a chemist getting some vitamins.[4]
- In this version of the episode, Bluey asks Bandit if there's anything that they need from the off-license. Bandit answers that "they already have it".
- This version of the episode did not even have its first draft sent to the ABC.
- Though the script of the original draft wasn’t used, the likely reason why the first draft wasn’t sent to the ABC is due to alcohol references. (Though a champagne bottle was only seen and used once in Spy Game)
- The segment of the episode inside the chemist takes place in real time. Both the timestamps on the security cameras and the actual duration are four minutes, twenty-three seconds.
- On the official website, the character section for the episode has the Heeler girls and Bandit dancing.[5]
Errors[]
- Between 3:18:00 and 3:18:08, three jars of protein powder vanish from the endcap display.
- At 5:32:00, the captions mistakenly refer to Bingo as "he”
