Swim School is the thirty-fourth episode of the second season of Bluey.
Synopsis[]
Mum, Dad and Bingo must complete both their classes to pass Swim School, but pleasing strict Big Fish instructor Margaret (aka Bluey) is proving very difficult.

The episode starts with Bingo running, holding a swimming cap, whilst announcing that she doesn't need floaties anymore, because she learned to swim. As she approaches her parents, Bandit tells Bingo to walk, as she slows down, then stopping. Bingo apologizes, as she starts to inform her that running can be dangerous near the pool. As Bluey runs into the scene with goggles and a swimming cap in hand, wanting to play a game called Swim School, Bingo tells her parents Bluey was running near the pool.
Bandit then tells Bingo to not be a dobber. Bingo, surprised, tells him that he just said it was dangerous. Chilli, now out of the chair squirting sunscreen into her hand, walks over to Bluey and Bingo to rub sunscreen on them, as Bandit are talking about how running by the pool is dangerous, Bandit answers her with saying yes, it is, so Bingo asks if Bluey does something dangerous, like running by the pool, should she dob then?
He doesn't know how to answer, so he asks Chilli for her help on the question, as she shrugs. He then resorts to say he has to go, then rolling into the pool. The title card then appears, with Bingo saying the name of the episode. The card then cuts to Bluey explaining to Bingo and Bandit about the two classes in Swim School. Little fish, and Big fish. Chilli swims over to ask if she can play as well, the kids tell her yeah, as she then explains that you have to pass Little fish before they can go to Big fish. She asks if they've got it, and they all tell her they've got it.
She dives down and back up with the swimming cap Bingo was holding. She tells them her name, Karen. They all say Hello to 'Karen' and then she tells her students their all brothers and sisters. Bandit and Chilli gasp and get away from each other. Karen then tells her class that they are about to start Kicking. As the Kicking class starts, she tells bingo that her kicking is good. Bingo tells Karen that she's not Bingo. She's Merifyndor. Karen that corrects herself, telling Merifyndor good kicking.
Bandit, singing while kicking and getting a little off track, Chilli tells Karen that Bevan isn't doing it properly. Bandit, Bevan, then is confused that his name is Bevan. Karen, asks her if Bevan is doing anything dangerous. She replies with no, and Karen tells her to not be a dobber. She apologizes, as Karen tells her it's okay. Bevan sings again, then Merifyndor dives underwater, poking Bevan in the belly. He does a quiet yelp of pain, and tells Karen that Merifyndor poked him in the belly. Karen tells Merifyndor off about doing that, and she listens. Chilli then asks about Bevan dobbing on Merifyndor, like she did? Then Karen tells Bevan no dobbing, as she doesn't allow it in her class. Bevan tells Karen on how Chilli, now named Sharon, should get in trouble for dobbing on him, for dobbing on Merifyndor.
Karen then tells Sharon she's been band, and no dobbing. Sharon, going to say something, gets cut off by Merifyndor poking her in the belly. The Kicking class ends, and tells her students the two new rules, no poking, causing Merifyndor to get sad. The second rule she tells them is no dobbing. Chilli adds on, 'Unless someone's in danger.' Karen nods while saying 'Unless that.', Karen tells them that they are a family, and the Bevan tells them that they should work together. The two agreeing. The doggy paddle class then begins,
The 3 siblings doing a doggy paddle alongside each other, Sharon then her brother, Bevan's doggy paddle is great, Bevan then thanks her, Merifyndor asks how hers is, and Bevan tells her its great also, telling her to keep going. Karen, sitting with a coconut drink tells them that they make her so proud. Then the scene cuts to them monkeying. Karen tells them that their monkeying is excellent. She then adds that they'll be big fish in no time. Merifyndor then accidentally lets go, and falls underwater, screaming. Then, it's their final lesson. Ninja kicks. Karen gives them a example of one.
All three are impressed with Karens skill. Karen is seen underwater, and swimming back up, ending with her saying 'Tada!'. After, they all clap for her. She tells them off they go, starting with Merifyndor, then Sharon, and lastly Bevan. They all swim back up, and Karen congratulates them, telling them well done. She announces they get to move up to Big fish, and they all cheer, Merifyndor then announces that no-one dobbed on anyone. Karen tells them good luck, and swims off. Sharon asks that she isn't their teacher for Big fish, and the Karen tells them that Margaret takes Big fish, so she waves and tells her class goodbye. Bevan then says that they have a feeling they wont like Margaret. Margaret then surprises them, she welcomes them all to Big fish.
She tells them that she's Margaret, and dumps water out her goggles, then says she's their teacher. They all say hello to Margaret, as then Margaret tells them she's not as nice as Karen. Bevan then says that he knew it, then Margaret tells them that if anyone steps out of line in her class, they'll get one a squirty, as she demonstrates on Bevan. He pretends to spit out water, as Merifyndor giggles. And then Bevan asks why she demonstrated on him, she calls it a squirty. Sharon says to not worry about them, that Karen told them to work together as a family, and to never dob. Unless its about something dangerous.
Margaret then asks that Karen doesn't like dobbing, Merifyndor then says no, and Margaret says that she likes dobbing, The three confused, Margaret then informs her students that if they don't dob, they won't pass. Merifyndor says she thought dobbing was bad, and Sharon adds 'Unless you're doing something dangerous.', then Margaret tells them 'Dobbing is good.' Sharon says that their gonna pass Big fish without dobbing. Margaret informs them that Big fish is pretty hard, as Merifyndor tells Margaret that they don't care how hard it is. Bevan, making fun of Margaret, calls her Marge, and asks what she thinks of that.
Margaret, mad, does a squirty to Bevan, and says that her names Margaret, not Marge. The scene cuts to Bevan backstroking, as Sharon tells him its great. He thanks her, and then Margaret jumps on. He asks what she's doing, and she says she's a bag of coconuts. As he slowly starts sinking, he asks why he would backstroke with a bag of coconuts, she replies with that he might be shipwrecked on a island. He then sinks, and Margaret tells him he failed.
Margaret then tells Sharon to swim to the other side of the pool, Merifyndor and Bevan root for her, as she starts, Margaret jumps on her back, as she says she'll tag along. Sharon asks what, and sinks. Margaret then tells her she failed. Both Bevan and Merifyndor ask Margaret 'What?!'. The scene cuts to Merifyndor doing a starfish. Beva tells her it's a great starfish, and Margaret comes in as a cyclone. She blows on Merifyndor to make her lose balance. Margaret then tells her another fail. Sharon then starts a family meeting, Margaret is singing underwater, upside-down. Sharon says that Big fish is impossible. Bevan says he doesn't know about this 'Margaret' character, Merifyndor, calls her a silly old watermelon head. Sharon agrees.
Bevan announces that he wants Karen back, Sharon makes the plan that they don't do what she says. Bevan adds that if they stick together, what will Margaret do? Merifyndor then dives under and swims to Margaret to dob. Bevan then asks what Merifyndor reckons. He then repeats her name after seeing she's gone. They then see Merifyndor dobbing on them to Margaret. She tells her that they said they weren't going to whatever she said, and that they want Karen back. Margaret tells her excellent dobbing. Margaret swims over to give Sharon and Bevan squirtys. Bevan then asks if Merifyndor dobbed on them. Merifyndor then giggles and says that it's allowed. Margaret says that it is, and that Merifyndor passed Big fish.
Both Sharon and Bevan ask 'What!', and then Sharon dobs on Merifyndor, by telling her that Merifyndor called her a silly old watermelon head. Margaret, is shocked and tells Merifyndor she failed too, and gives her a squirty. Margaret tells Sharon to come over, and tells her that she passed instead. Bevan, wanting to pass, tells Margaret that Sharon peeked in Marco Polo. Margaret, shocked again, gives Sharon a squirty, telling her she failed. Leaving Bevan, the only one left to fail, saunters over to Margaret. Sharon tried to think of a reason for him to fail, and as Margaret gets ready for a squirty, says that he peed in the pool.
Everyone shocked, swimming out the pool. He tells them that it's a victimless crime, Margaret tells that Merifyndor and Sharon passed big fish, and Bevan failed. Merifyndor, the realizes that she doesn't want to dob on her family. That if Bevan wants to fail Big fish, she wants to fail too. She then Ninja Kicks into the pool. Sharon says she's with Merifyndor. Then also Ninja Kicks into the pool. Both Sharon and Bevan tell Merifyndor 'Good one, sis.'. Margaret then tells them they all failed, then jumps in the pool. Bevan thanks Merifyndor, as she tells him your welcome. Karen, surprising the family jumps out the water. Then they all say Karen, and Karen welcomes them back to Little fish, and they all hug and say "Aww." Karen says that she's so proud of them, then Merifyndor asks why is the water warmer there, then everyon that Bevan peed in the pool, and all quickly swim away from him.Appearances[]

- Bingo's nickname "Merifyndor" rhymes with "Gryffindor," one of the Four Hogwarts Houses, which may have possibly inspired it.
- Margaret could be named after a fan of Bluey of the same name, known on YouTube as Aussie Girl Margie.
- One of Bluey’s nicknames, “Karen”, could possibly be inspired by the viral internet Karen videos, which are clips of women who are bossy and demand what they want.
- Ironically, Karen is the kinder of the two teachers Bluey pretends to be.
- Bingo states that that "[She doesn't] need floaties because [she] learnt to swim." Since she needed floaties in The Pool that means she learned to swim sometime between these two episodes.
- When this episode aired on Disney Channel in the US, it was paired with Library and Bin Night.
- This is the first (and so far only) episode to be set entirely outside Australia; taking place in Bali, Indonesia
- The "What?!?" line that Bingo says is reused from The Pool.
- This is the first episode where bunches of nicknames are used.
