Biography
Stripe is the husband of Trixie, the younger brother of Bandit and Radley, the father of Muffin and Socks, and brother-in-law of Chilli, the uncle of Bluey and Bingo and the youngest son of Bob and Nana.
As a child, Bandit frequently teased Stripe. One particular holiday his teasing got so bad that Rad jinxed him to make him stop. Stripe quite enjoyed Bandit’s predicament, often acting as though he would say Bandit’s name to release him only to say another word entirely. He did this even after Bandit helped him get out of some prickly grass Stripe had walked into. However, Bandit, whose enforced silence had given him time to reflect, was actually pleased Stripe hadn’t let him off the hook so easily.[1]
During their childhood, Stripe and his brothers had a toy that they treasured so much, they decided to bury it. They then made a map to it on the back of a picture of the three of them, which they then divided into three pieces. As an adult, Stripe would keep his piece of the map in his wallet until he gave it to Bluey and Bingo.[2]
During Rad and Frisky's wedding, Stripe got so drunk that on the next day it's revealed that he ended up sleeping under Wendy's bushes with little recollection of the night before.
Appearance
Stripe is a Blue Heeler with blue, light blue, very dark blue, brown and dark brown fur. He has blue legs, arms, torso and head, light blue feet, feet rings, hands, torso and back stripe and a muzzle with beard whiskers on it. His tail has a very dark blue tip, inner right head spot and outer ears, brown eyebrows, outer right head spot and middle tail, and dark brown inner ears and tail stem. He also has a black nose. His left ear is bent and he has rice-shaped chest hairs on his chest.
Different Ages
- In Fairytale, he is shorter.
Personality
Stripe is a gentle soul who seems to always go with the flow. He loves a challenge, especially when given the opportunity to challenge his older brother, Bandit, with whom he shares a friendly sibling rivalry.[3] This sibling rivalry goes way back when they were kids, with it using to be less friendly.[1] Eventually, the two of them worked out their brotherhood and became quite close. While he's always wishing that he could be watching cricket,[4] he still loves playing with his daughters and nieces.[5] As the father to two young toddlers, Stripe seems to be relatively inexperienced/is not caught up[6] when it comes to parenting. Like Bandit, he can also be rather boastful.[7][8]
