Show And Tell (also known as Show and Tell) is the forty-second episode of the third season of Bluey.
Synopsis[]
Bluey wants to know why Bandit's always bossing her around![1]
Episode Recap[]
Warning Spoilers!
Bluey and Bingo are ignoring their breakfast, while Bandit splits his attention between telling the kids to eat, cooking his own breakfast, and talking on the phone. He negotiates the purchase of a second-hand surfboard. Chilli arrives, and invites Bingo to practice her Show and Tell speech. She shows off a crab claw, but has nothing to say about it. Chilli has some suggestions, but Bingo tunes her out.
They sit down to eat. Bluey notices that Bandit has different tomato sauce than the kids - he's making them eat low-sugar sauce while he keeps the good stuff for the grownups. Bluey and Bingo get a taste, and this injustice is the last straw for Bluey - she declares that she's going to count how many times Bandit bosses them around.
Bandit takes the kids with him to pick up the surfboard, and he rapidly runs up Bluey's count as he tells them to get in the car, pay attention, buckle up, etc. When Bluey gets to nine, Bandit gets annoyed and decides to flip the script - he's not going to let Sat Nav boss him around. He argues with Sat Nav and takes wrong turns on purpose, as the kids try to convince him to follow directions.
They end up at a cemetery, and Bandit lets Bluey talk him into being bossed around because it's for a good reason.
They arrive at the sellers house. While Bandit and Bluey load up the surfboard, the seller tells Bingo what species of crab the claw came from, and shows her how to pull the tendon to make the claw move.
At Bingo's Kindy, she presents the crab claw much more confidently. She demonstrates how to make it click which is very popular with the rest of the class.

Trivia[]
- Bandit references the episode 'Tina'.
- Bluey and Bingo note that they did not learn a lesson from the events of that episode.
- This is the second time the title card appears immediately after the intro. Because of this, both this episode and the previous episode lack an interval before a title card appears in a row.
- Bluey and Bingo have a different tomato sauce from Bandit and Chilli, with lower sugar content.
- 'Tomato sauce' is a common household term in Oceania and the British Isles for any kind of tomato-based liquid food, including tomato ketchup; 'ketchup' is not usually synonymous with tomato sauce in North America however.
- Bluey and Bingo hear people talking long as 'blah blah blah'.
- This is loosely based on the common American animation trope where a character is talking long as 'blah blah blah' from a younger character's perspective, such as in Peanuts.
- Joe Brumm cites the inspiration for this example was The Simpsons episode, Bart's Dog Gets an "F", in which the Simpsons' dog, Santa's Little Helper, hears the family like this.[2]
- The cemetery is referred as "Statue World" by Bingo.
- In the Bluey podcast, Joe Brumm stated that one of his daughters said, “Statue World, where everyone is dead” for the cemetery. The extended line for this episode is not featured as it may spark controversy about death or mentioning about death. Although, this conjecture may contradict the events of the episode 'Copycat'.
- After leaving the cemetery, Bluey, Bingo, and Bandit drive by a school with a traffic signal box painted with Bluey art. This is based on the real life Stafford State School in Brisbane, and Ludo Studio really has painted Bluey art on the traffic signal box out front.[3][4]
- Shauna Corrigan plays the role of SatNav the second time, the first being for Explorers.
- Long Dog: This version of the toy is light green. It can be seen on top of the painted traffic signal box.
- The house that Bandit drives to is 16 Pelton Drive; like many locations, this is a real place in Brisbane, located to the north in the Aspley neighbourhood. However, at the time of the episodes release, the house was for sale.[5]
