Script

[Bluey is seen sitting in the living room, she eats the last of her apple slices, before Bingo runs in.]

Bingo: Bluey, do you want to play 'Ground's Lava'?

Bluey: Ooh, where you can't touch the ground?

Bingo: Yeah!

Bluey: Okay, I'll just put my plate back in the kitchen.

[Bingo gets onto the table, giggling. It cuts to show Bandit and Chilli standing in the kitchen, the cupboard door is open.]

Chilli: I see what you're saying, I just don't agree.

Bandit: How can you not agree?

[Bluey walks in, holding her plate up to herself. She has a worried expression.]

Bluey: Are you two squabbling?

Chilli: One second, Bluey.

Bandit: If you attach the bin to the door, it means I have to deal with the bin bags.

Chilli: Yeah, but you don't have to touch the bin.

[Chilli shuts the cupboard.]

Bandit: But I like taking the whole bin out, bin bags are a pain.

Chilli: You're a pain.

Bandit: Oh, great.

[Bluey walks over, and gets between the two.]

Bluey: Stop squabbling, I don't like it.

Bandit: We're not squabbling, kiddo. We're just talking.

Chilli: Sorry, Bluey. It's okay.

[Chilli puts her hand behind Bluey's back, she walks away from Bluey and Bandit.]

Chilli: Look, let's talk about this later.

Bandit: Can't wait.

[Title - Postman]

Bluey: This episode of Bluey is called 'Postman.'

[It cuts to show Bluey carrying a stool to the deck, where Chilli is now sitting, drinking a cup of tea. Bluey places the stool next to Chilli.]

Bluey: This is your letterbox.

[Chilli just smiles. Cut to the next scene, Bandit is hammering nails into the veranda, Bluey carries another stool over, alongside some paper and markers. She places the stuff down next to Bandit.]

Bluey: And this is your letterbox, here's some letter writing things, and I'm the postie.

Bandit: Oh, great.

[He goes back to hammering the nails. Bluey clears her throat to grab his attention.]

Bandit: What?

Bluey: You have to write a letter.

Bandit: Oh, okay. Who should I write it to?

[Bandit picks up the paper and a marker.]

Bluey: The only other person with a letterbox is Mum.

Bandit: Well, I better write one to Mum then.

[Bandit starts writing.]

Bluey: Yes, write that you're not enemies.

Bandit: But we're not enemies!

Bluey: Yes, yes. Put it in the letter.

Bandit: We were just having a discussion.

Bluey: It was a squabble.

Bandit: Maybe, but we still love each other.

Bluey: People shouldn't squabble.

Bandit: You're probably right. It's good to get to the bottom of things, though.

Bluey: Well, I'm not going to squabble with anyone.

Bandit: Fair enough.

[Bandit puts his letter into an envelope which has 'MUM' written on it. He puts it into the stool.]

Bandit: Here you go.

Bluey: Thank you!

[She turns around and grabs Bandit's letter, she opens it and reads his letter.]

Bandit: Hey! You're reading my mail?!

[The screen cuts to show the letter, saying 'I ♥ U', with a signature, saying '-Dad'.]

Bluey: Ooh, a love heart!

[Bluey grabs her motorbike.]

Bluey: See you!

[She 'drives' off, it cuts to Bingo who is still on the table, now looking boredly. She then looks shocked when she sees Bluey touching the ground.]

Bingo: Ah! Bluey, stop! You're in the lava!

Bluey: Huh?

Bingo: We're playing 'Ground's Lava', remember?

Bluey: Oh, yeah. But I can't anymore, Bingo. I'm playing 'Postman'.

Bingo: Awh, you always say you'll play with me, and you never do.

Bluey: No, I don't.

Bingo: Yes, you don't.

Bluey: No, I don't. Wait, -this is squabbling! Uhm, okay, we can play both, Bingo.

Bingo: Yay! Thanks, Bluey!

[Bluey grabs her motorbike and jumps to a backpack laying on the ground.]

Bluey: Hm, not squabbling is easy!

[Title - Postman and Ground's Lava]

Bluey: This episode of Bluey is called 'Postman and Ground's Lava'.

[It cuts back, Bluey jumps from the backpack to a book, to a cushion.]

Bluey: We need to get to the top deck, so I can deliver this letter to Mum.

[Bluey gets onto the table, and jumps to the couch.]

Bingo: Okay, but we have to do it without touching the lava.

[Bingo crawls onto the top of the couch.]

Bluey: Help me with the bike.

Bingo: [groans] It's too heavy! Can we just leave it here?

[Bingo grabs a cart with her foot, and gets on it.]

Bluey: You can't be a postie without a motorbike.

[Bluey gets on, she kicks her foot against the back of the couch to get to the wall of the staircase.]

Bingo: Yeah you can, postie Petunia doesn't have a motorbike.

[Bingo stops them from crashing into the bookshelf.]

Bluey: But she's not real.

Bingo: Yeah she is, she's on TV.

Bluey: No she's- Wait. Is this a squabble?

Bingo: Uhm, yes.

Bluey: [groans] Well, we have to stop it 'cause I'm never squabbling again!

Bingo: Oh, okay.

Bluey: So you'll just have to agree with me on everything, okay?

Bingo: Okay, easy.

Bluey: Now, grab the bike.

[Bingo grabs the bike's wheel and they start walking to the stairs.]

Bingo: Yes, because posties have motorbikes.

Bluey: I think I can reach the bottom step!

Bingo: But they're lava!

Bluey: What?! The steps are lava too?!

Bingo: Yeah, it's a lava waterfall.

[Bluey looks up at the stairs for a second and looks back at Bingo.]

Bluey: But Mum's upstairs. I'm making it so the steps aren't lava.

Bingo: Aw, not fair.

Bluey: You have to agree with me on everything, remember?

[Bingo drags the bike's wheel]

Bingo: I think you should agree with me on everything.

Bluey: I don't agree on that.

Bingo: Well, I do.

Bluey: Well, I don't.

Bingo: Ah-ah, we're squabbling.

Bluey: Oh, yeah, okay, I'll agree with you on everything.

Bingo: Splendid, the steps are lava.

Bluey: How are we gonna get up them?

[Bingo grabs two books from the bookshelf and raises them up.]

Bingo: Steppie stones!

[Cut to a close up of the floor, Bingo puts one book on the floor, this continues until they get to the top.]

Bluey: Oh, that's it! Wee, this is fun.

[Bingo giggles, Bluey grabs the other book from a step and puts it to the last one.]

Bluey and Bingo: Hooray!

[In the TV room, Bluey holds the door knob and lands on a book, she grabs the letter from her mouth, Bluey slams the door so Bingo can have her turn.]

Bluey: Ooh, good thing we left all our stuff on the floor.

[Bingo does the same thing as Bluey did and lands on a green star cushion.]

Bluey: Okay, let's go this way to the kitchen.

[Bluey throws the green star cushion on the floor.]

Bingo: No, let's go over the couches.

[Bingo grabs a handle of a jumprope and throws it to a rug.]

Bluey: But that's the long way.

Bingo: So?

Bluey: There's no time! I have to get this letter to Mum now!

Bingo: But the couch way's more fun, and you have to agree with me, remember?

Bluey: Well, I think let's try where I agree with me, and you agree with you.

Bingo: Mm, okay.

Bluey: See you at the kitchen!

[Bingo giggles, she gets to a table, and then an armchair. Bluey drops the bike to a bench and gets on it, giggling a bit. Bingo then gets on a stool cube and begins to roll it to the sofa while giggling. Bluey crawls but reaches a dead end of the bench.]

Bluey: Oh, no! I'm stuck!

Bingo: Me too.

Bluey: Look, a lava boat!

[Bluey points to a vacuum cleaner. Bingo gasps.]

Bingo: But how are we gonna get to it?

Bluey: I know!

[Bluey sets her bike on the floor and lands on it. She uses a hand to pull her from the wall.]

Bingo: Go, Bluey!

[Bluey lands on the vacuum cleaner.]

Bluey: We made it.

Bingo: I guess posties do need bikes.

Bluey: Maybe we should just agree with each other on everything.

Bingo: Okay.

[In the kitchen, Bingo is using the vacuum cleaner's handle to move forward, with Bluey on it too, and a book.]

Bluey: Oh, Bingo, this is the only way to travel on lava. Wouldn't you agree?

Bingo: Yes, I would agree. Almost there.

[The vacuum cleaner stops at a floor threshold.]

Bluey: Oh! We can't get over the thing!

[Bingo grabs a book they were sitting on and raises it.]

Bingo: Don't worry!

[Bingo then throws the book on the balcony floor, and Bluey lands on it.]

Bluey: Mail's here.

[Bluey looks at the couch and realizes Chilli is no longer there.]

Bluey: Hey, what, where's Mum?

[Bingo then lands on the book too.]

Bingo: There she is.

[Bingo points to Chilli, who is now sitting on an outdoor chaise lounge chair while listening to music. Bandit is still hammering nails in the background.]

Bingo: She must have moved.

Bluey: Aww! We took too long! Now she'll never get my letter.

Bingo: Why do you want to deliver this letter so much?

Bluey: Cause if I don't, Mum and Dad will be enemies forever.

Bingo: What?!

Bluey: That's why I didn't want to play Ground's Lava.

Bingo: Then why did you?

Bluey: Cause you always cry when I don't play with you.

Bingo: Because you always promise to play with me, and then you don't.

Bluey: But I had a reason!

Bingo: But you didn't tell me the reason.

Bluey: Cause I didn't want to upset you. Oh, no! Bingo, we're squabbling!

[They both gasp while putting each of their hand on their mouth.]

Bingo: I'm sorry, Bluey.

Bluey: I'm sorry too, Bingo.

[They both hug each other while gently wagging their tails.]

Bluey: Hey, that squabble felt good.

Bingo: Yeah, but how do we deliver the letter?

Bluey: Mmm...

[Bluey gasps, the scene then closes up to the book.]

Bluey: Bingo, we can make an airplane!

Bingo: Yeah!

[The scene then cuts to a bird on the roof, probably cleaning something. Cut back to Bluey and Bingo.]

Bluey: Open the book.

Bingo: Okay.

[Bingo opens the book.]

Bluey: What's the first step?

Bingo: Fold it down the middle.

Bluey: Okay.

Bingo: [groans] Move your foot.

[Bluey yelps.]

Bingo: And then fold the top bits.

Bluey: Okay, folding the top bits.

Bingo: No, no, the other way.

Bluey: [chuckling] I'm doing it the other way.

Bingo: [chuckling] You're not.

Bluey: [chuckling] Bingo, we're still squabbling!

[They both laugh.]

Bingo: Yeah!

[They continue laughing. Chilli and Bandit are still doing their activities. Cut to Bluey and Bingo, with the letter now being a paper airplane.]

Bluey: Okay, ready?

Bingo: Ready.

Bluey: And fly!

[Bluey throws the paper airplane and it flies.]

Bluey: Go, love heart plane!

Bluey and Bingo: That's it, that's it!

[The airplane changes course and heads towards Wendy and Judo's backyard.]

Bluey and Bingo: What? No!

[Bingo screams.]

Bluey: Dad's gonna love Judo's mum!

Bingo: Go back, go back!

[Wendy is on the backyard doing exercise with a hula hoop between her legs, pushing them back and forth with it. The plane then flies back up and heads back to the Heeler house's backyard.]

Bluey: Whoo...

Bluey and Bingo: Thanks, brother wind!

Bingo: That's it.

[The plane then lands on Chilli's stomach.]

Bluey and Bingo: Hooray!

[Chilli picks up the note and unfolds it, she smiles. Bandit in the background also smiles.]

[The episode ends with Bluey dancing in the credits.]
