Hold it right there, mate. |
Hungry is the fourth Bluey Minisode.
Synopsis
Dad is hungry so he pretends to eat Bluey. [1]
In Hungry, Dad is hungry![2]
Not just hungry, he is starving! His options are fair and few: even though a bucket of chicken sounds appealing, he’s too hungry to drive anywhere. With that in mind, he decides his only option is to eat one of the kids… and Bluey’s the closest.
Even though Mum reminds him that “kids don’t agree with him”, Dad is too hungry to care. Seconds later, Bluey has been chew-chew-chewed and Dad is full up! That is until his tummy starts to ache….
Episode Recap
Warning Spoilers!
Bandit comes into the room, complaining that he is hungry. Chilli knows what is coming though and tries to stop him, but decides to stay out of it. Bandit decides to eat Bluey, even when Chilli reminds him that eating their children doesn't agree with his stomach (this is normal behaviour apparently). He consumes Bluey, but he starts feeling unwell, before throwing Bluey up onto Bingo. He feels better, but then decides to eat the remains of Bluey, much to Chilli's disgust.

Trivia
- This minisode marks the fourth to be released in the series.
- Burger Dog, Bingo 3000, Letter and Animals were also released on this date, airing fourth of the five.
- Despite the episode airing in the evening on ABC Kids, the episode was released alongside the other four episodes at the same time in the morning on ABC iview.
- The reference "Chicken Bucket" could be a reference to the episode Unicorse, which is the named characters supposed favourite food; conveniently Unicorse is also controlled by Bandit in said episode.
