The Grey Nomads are elderly dogs who travel around Australia in caravans. A number of them appear in various episodes of Bluey, most notably Road Trip.

A common sight on any family road trip, you’ll recognise the Grey Nomads from their enormous caravans which sport roof racks piled with luggage, funny horns and eclectic bumper sticker collections.
They’re a slow-moving bunch, usually Nanas and Grandads, who are content with taking in the scenery over getting to their destination. They’re especially partial to a roadside tourist attraction, like the Big Peanut.
The Grey Nomads are notorious for taking the best campsites when they do finally arrive at their holiday spot. This can cause frustration with some of their fellow road trippers – including Bandit… [1]
Biography[]
During the Heeler family's road trip, Bluey was bored out of her mind, with her dad answering that she was just born, much to his daughter's annoyance. Bluey complained to her mum, Chilli, to do something about her issue. Chilli attempted to solve the 'bored' issue by offering her and Bingo to play some computer games on the tablets, which was successful when her daughters cheered. When Chilli wasn't able to find the titular items, she asked Bandit to pull the car over so she could look in the boot (the back of the car), much to her husband's disapproval. While looking through the boot, Bingo heard some strange honking sound. Bandit replied with an "oh no" since he heard the sound as well, quickly figuring out that it was the Grey Nomads. With that noted, he urges his wife to get back in the car in order to get ahead of the nomads before they get in front of them. However, this sequence is later repeated during a brief stop at a gas station when the windshield contained muck from a truck carrying cows, unknowingly splattering them.
Once the family arrived at the gas station, Bandit attempted to have his family stay put in the car. His comment quickly faltered when Chilli wanted to check on some sunnies (sunglasses), Bluey going on a car ride, and Bingo checking out some 'things', much to his annoyance. When he was done cleaning the windshield, he heard a familiar honking sound, immediately knowing that the nomads are back. After Bandit quickly said his iconic "Biscuits!" line, he pulled Bluey out of her car ride and dragged Bingo back to the car, with Chilli luckily paying for her sunnies just in time to catch up.
Just when the roadwork person turned his sign to show the word, "slow", Bingo needed a bush wee, which really set off her dad just when they were about to stay ahead of the caravans. Bandit finally lost the battle when the Grey Nomads slowly drove past them, and just when Bingo was done doing her wee, the man turned the sign to show the word, "stop", again. Moments later, much to his chagrin, Bandit was forced to wind up behind the caravans, slowly driving ahead of Bobo (the Heeler family's car). However, to Bandit's surprise and short-lived relief, the nomads soon proved to be headed towards the Big Peanut.
As the girls are also interested in visiting the Big Peanut, Bandit reluctantly follows the Grey Nomads. The Heelers ended up meeting two of the nomads, a fellow Heeler and Maltese, who gave Bingo a Big Peanut sticker.[2] The Maltese would later be seen reading when the Heelers visited the library[3] and the airport.[4] On another occasion, the Heeler was seen at a juice shop while Chilli, her daughters, and her nieces were searching for Frisky.[5]

Trivia[]
- The two Grey Nomads with speaking roles are voiced by Bob Brumm and Judy Newman.
- Bob Brumm, the voice actor of the male Heeler Grey Nomad, is the father of the show's creator, Joe Brumm.
- Bob Brumm is also the inspiration behind Bob Heeler, though strangely he never voiced for him.
- The male Grey Nomad Heeler is the first Heeler in the series to not be related to Bluey or her family.
