Granny Mobile is the thirty-third episode of Season Three of Bluey.
Synopsis[]
At a garage sale, Muffin’s playing Grouchy Granny, and she’s making Bandit push her on an old scooter. But then, a real Grouchy Granny wants to buy it, and Muffin won’t budge.
Bluey and Bingo are playing Grannies at Doreen’s garage sale. Muffin wants to play too and decides to be a Grouchy Granny. She is making Bandit push her on Doreen’s old mobility scooter that’s for sale until a real Grouchy Granny arrives![2]
The real Grouchy Granny successfully lowballs the timid Doreen for the mobility scooter, but Muffin refuses to get off until she pays more!
Muffin proves to be a tough negotiator, closing the sale for eleven hundred dollars – and even some lollies!
As a reward, she gets one of Doreen’s tea towels and uses it to become a super-granny instead of a grouchy one!

While on a trip back home, the Heeler family sees that Doreen is doing a yard sale. She intends to obtain enough money for her holiday to the reef. When they visit Doreen to check out her yard sale, Bluey, Bingo, and Muffin decide to play Grannies. While thinking of a way Muffin can play Grannies, since she has never played it with them before, Bluey suggests that she can be a grouchy one, and that she can ride a powerless granny mobile with Buggalugs pushing it along.
Doreen is having trouble negotiating with people on prices for her items, and Chilli takes notice; Doreen, being her usual kind self, states that she "doesn't want to make a fuss," which isn't really doing profits for the sale as Chilli witnesses her sell a fancy vase to a shopper for just two dollarbucks. Meanwhile, as Bluey, Bingo, Muffin, and "Buggalugs" play grannies, with "Buggalugs" being unimpressed with the granny mobile's asking price of $300 dollarbucks, Muffin is concerned that she's being too grouchy and wants to know if there are any other types of grannies. Bluey and Bingo state that they can't think of any, and Muffin orders "Buggalugs" to take her home.
As Chilli and Doreen are still talking about the latter's unwillingness to raise the prices of some items, an actual grouchy granny bumps into one of the tables where some of the items resting on it fall and break. She then scorns the both of them, Doreen for placing it too far on the sidewalk, and Chilli for being too noisy with moving it back. The old pug then states that she's not going to pay for the damage, to which Chilli says she should at least pay a little to make up, only for the pug to still refuse.
While Muffin and Buggalugs arrive back at the yard sale, the old pug shows up and requests to buy the scooter from Muffin. Muffin refuses at first, but then states that it's $900 dollarbucks, to which the pug says that the sign says $300 dollarbucks. Muffin then tosses the sign away and restates her price. As they argue some more, Buggalugs tries to get the pug to calm down, only for her to smack him with her purse. As Chilli and Doreen arrive, the granny offers Doreen $100 dollarbucks and the latter reluctantly agrees to the price. The pug then starts to call Bandit fat, much to his dismay. As Chilli tries to get the granny to stop, Doreen takes the dollar bill from the pug, with Chilli commenting that she shouldn't have done so. The pug then turns her attention back to Muffin, tells her to get off. Muffin refuses, and they begin to haggle over the price. Eventually, they settle on the price of $1200 for the scooter (really ended up paying 1300 since Doreen still has the 100 she gave her), plus $2 for 18 lollies. Chilli and Doreen are impressed, for Muffin had just raised enough money for Doreen's trip.
As the pug leaves and blows a raspberry at the family and Doreen, the latter then tells Muffin that she can take anything she could want from her yard sale for free as a thanks for giving her enough money for the trip. Muffin then asks for a tea towel, and is later revealed that she wanted to use it to be a super granny. When Bandit asks to buy some exercise equipment, he starts with $20, to which Doreen haggles a solid $50, impressing both him and Chilli for her confidence.Appearances[]

Trivia[]
- Bluey dancing in the end credits are replaced with the old pug riding the scooter.
- The music used during scenes with the grouchy granny pug is Habanera Aria by Georges Bizet; the music is used in numerous films such as in Pixar's Up.
- This is the first instance of a character arc involving Bandit and his physical health, which would continue in "Exercise".
- The painting that the Shopper asks Doreen to price is a piece by Ken Done.[3]
- The commemorative plate depicted in this episode appears to be of the wedding between then-Prince Charles and his first wife Diana (née Spencer).
- A copy of Cujo by Stephen King can be seen on the table when Doreen tells Chilli she's trying to get a bit of cash together.

- The portraits on the hundred-dollar bank note are of Dame Nellie Melba on the obverse and General Sir John Monash on the reverse, both of whom are in canine form. The respective breeds of the two figures are not known due to the lack of detail of the note at the distance they were drawn.
- Melba was a Victorian era operatic coloratura soprano singer who was the first Australian to gain international recognition as a classical musician. In spite of her small repertoire -- she was closely identified with only 10 roles -- she performed with some of the most highly regarded opera companies of her time. In her later years, she was an active vocal teacher at the Conservatorium of Music, Melbourne. While the school itself closed in 2008, its legacy continues through the Melba Opera Trust, which was named in her honour.
- Monash was a World War I military officer who was the first Australian to have full command over Australian forces, often exercising relative independence from his British superiors. In addition, he introduced the ideas that an officer has a duty to see to the well-being & safety of those under their command and that planning and integration of all aspects of the forces available -- from the fighting aspects of infantry, tanks, aircraft, and artillery down to the mundane aspects like logistics and medical services -- would ensure victory in modern, mechanized warfare.
