Government is the eleventh Bluey minisode.
Synopsis[]
In Government, Dad tells Bingo to tidy her room, but she says ‘nope’. Then he asks her to eat some vegetables, but she says ‘no’ again! Right, that’s it, Dad’s had enough.[1]
He puts Bingo on his lap and uses her back as a typewriter, writing to the government to tell them that his kids don’t do anything he says. He puts the Bingo-letter in an envelope, slaps a stamp on and sends it.
Soon, he gets a reply – but the government say that Dad’s children are his responsibility, not theirs. So Dad writes an angry letter back, demanding the government do something about his naughty kids.
The government reply to say… that Dad sounds like a pain in the bum!

Episode Recap[]
Bandit is on the couch, reading the paper, as a wandering Bingo enters the room. Bandit asks Bingo to clean her room... nope, she won't. Asking her to eat vegetables also yields a "nope!" Bandit, having had enough, grabs Bingo and uses her as a typewriter, the keys on her back clicking away as he writes an angry letter to the Australian Government telling them his kids ain't doing anything he says, be it cleaning their room, eating their veggies, OR obeying the speed limit! Oh biscuits, what gives?! (Sincerely, Bandit Heeler.)
Letter complete and enclosed in envelope, Bandit now just gotta lick the stamp and send it. The letter is quickly turned around with a reply, with the government, enclosing dump vouchers, telling him his kids are his own responsibility. Bandit writes back with frustration lacing his words, telling them he will vote if they get their priorities straight (i.e. sorting out his kids, also sincerely Bandit Heeler). One more licking the stamp and sending it ensues.
The letter and reply, enclosed with a fridge calendar, is returned once more... what he sees isn't music to his ears. The government's priorities lie within the essentials, not sorting his kids out - and after a little scathing remark towards him, telling him they don't want his vote, he crumples the letter and storms off, declaring that "THIS COUNTRY'S STUFFED!".
Bingo, however, wants another go.
