Synopsis

Bluey's house has fairies! Tails are being braided, stickers are everywhere, and Mum's got a peg beard. Now the family must band together to hunt for these invisible mischief-makers.

Episode Recap

Warning Spoilers! ->

Bingo assembles a domino track for Bandit, showing that she loves her dad. Chilli praises the work, and Bingo goes off to inform Bandit of her work - she'll let him knock down the first domino. However, Bandit is currently doing a lot of work stuff, and amidst the chaos, accidentally snaps at Bingo. Saddened, Bingo knocks down the dominoes herself.

Meanwhile, Bluey is on the couch as Bandit asks for Bingo. However, Bluey notices that Bandit's tail has been braided - also her's, and Chilli's, too. It seems that there is a problem - there's an infestation of fairies... somewhere... Bandit gives the others supplies and trains them on how to get rid of the fairies - if you see one, whack it. However, the fairies are invisible, so you have to look for them with your heart. Bandit's heart leads him towards a bag of turps.

Suddenly, Bluey's backside is full of stickers, Chilli has a peg beard, and Bandit's ready to kick things up a notch by bringing out the crab pots. His reasoning? "If they can catch crabs, they can catch fairies." Bandit's phone suddenly goes off in the middle of a fairy ring. That is certainly a trap waiting to happen - a trap Bluey falls for, making her skip around in a dance. Bandit knocks her off the ring with Bingo - now that's some strategy. Bingo's now dancing, but she is able to be brought out of the ring!

Speaking of rings, there's now a lot of them in the backyard - seeing this, they all bolt inside the house and into the pantry! Plan B needs a solution - Bandit wants to call the police, and Bluey wants to give the fairies what they want. Bandit is suddenly imbued with roller-skate hands! So what do the fairies want, anyway? Well... perhaps one of the Heelers - maaaaaaaaaaaaybe it's Bandit...? - hurt their feelings, causing them to go nuts around the house? Perhaps one of them could do whatever they would to get rid of the fairies?

Perhaps Bingo could go out and search for the clues the Heelers need. Perfect. Oh, and Bandit fluffies, blaming it on the fairies. Hoo, it's travelling. Hoo, it's the fairies' fault.

Bingo runs off in search of clues as Bluey unties Bandit's roller-hands. However, the fairies had used a triple-knot. Soon, Bingo returns with clues! This leads them down to the living room, all tricked out. Bingo finds a message from the fairies, depicting Bandit, complete with stink lines, dancing by the letterbox. Perhaps the solution has been found. However, Bandit doesn't want to go through with the solution, taunting the fairies to do their worst. And Bingo is now frozen, her fingers up her nose! Bluey puts the blame solely on Bandit, who exclaims "CURSE YOU, FAIRIES!".

Well, a deal's a deal. The family, complete with frozen Bingo, come outside to see a bunch of people outside - including Pat, Rusty and Wendy with Judo. Might as well then. Bandit apologises to Bingo before getting down on the dance sidewalk- then he proceeds to do an Irish jig around the letterbox. Anything for Bingo. Anything for the kids he'll always love - he'll do anything for them.

"ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED?!" - Bandit Heeler.

She becomes unfrozen, and everyone joins in! Oh, and Rusty gets bowled out, so one of his weaknesses is a fairy dance. As the Sun draws down the skyline, the Heelers wind down as Bingo draws them into a game of Spotlight! As Bingo runs inside to get the torch, she comes across a for-real-life fairy who has rebuilt her domino art from earlier. Bandit is finally able to look at the dominoes she set up earlier.

Appearances

Trivia

  • The episode music is an arrangement of John Ryan's Polka[1]. The composer of this tune is not known, but often attributed to Seán Ryan.
    • This tune is most famous from the soundtrack of the film Titanic.
  • This is the second time Bandit fluffed (farted).
  • This is the first appearance of Wendy, Zara and Chattermax.
  • Fairy rings are a ring-shaped pattern of mushrooms growing out of the ground. In European folklore, fairy rings are stated to be numerous things, such as a portal to the realm of the fairies or marking spots where fairies held dances. In most stories, fairy rings are considered bad omens and are to be avoided.
  • Bandit's line: "Are you not entertained?!" is a reference to the 2000 movie Gladiator.
  • Long Dog: This long dog is visible in the close-up of the macaroni jars after Bandit fluffs. It is visible in the top right of the screen and appears as a macaroni noddle with long dog features.
  • When this episode aired on Disney Channel in the US, it was paired with Work and Bumpy and the Wise Old Wolfhound.
  • This episode reveals, Bandit owns a phone with a paw case.

Errors

  • There are several goofs when Bandit is dancing while carrying Bingo:
    • Bandit's black mask splits in half when he carries Bingo while spinning. (Debatable as this might have been used for smearing)
    • Bandit's nose is slightly disconnected.
    • Bingo clips Bandit's snout and his black mask.
    • Bingo's snout is seen when Bandit is facing back.
    • Bandit's arm is glitched.
