Chunky Chimp is a character who is first seen in the Season 2 episode Movies of Bluey, as the titular character in the film with the same name. He also makes various cameos in other episodes.

Appearance[]

Chunky Chimp is a pink-and-tan chimpanzee with a tan patch on his stomach and around his entire face. His ears and part of his legs and arms are also tan. The rest of his body is pink. Chunky has a round nose with two small nostrils that are close together. He has two dark-magenta eyebrows.

His body shape and general appearance somewhat resembles that of the dogs in Bluey.

Personality[]

As seen as in the episode he stars in, he is inventive and wants to visit the Groundlands to find the Magic Pinecone. He is supposed to have a fear of being different due to societal norms, but he conquers it at the end of the movie when he becomes confident in exploring who he really wants to be and just being himself.

Biography[]

Not much is known about his family or friends. One of his friends can be seen at the start and end of the movie.

In the beginning of the movie, he is shown with his friend Chubbles, and is telling him that he wants to explore the Groundlands. Chubbles says that the Groundlands aren't meant for chimps, and Tree World is where they belong. Chunky says that his heart belongs to the Groundlands, and begins to ride his bike to the Groundlands. He meets a cheetah named Chew B'Deube, and later a talking pinecone. He saves the Tree World from the storm and they all sing "Be Yourself".
