"I can't get to the phone right now because I'M BUSY SELLING HOUSES! YEAH! It's what I do!" ― Bucky's voicemail greeting
Bucky Dunstan is a minor character in Bluey. A real estate agent, he first appears in a flashback in "Dragon".
Bluey.TV Description[]
Bucky Dunstan is a smooth-talking real estate agent who loves crisp white shirts, four-door hatchbacks (with his face plastered on the side), and celebrating a sale with a good ole’ fashioned horn toot.
He puts all his energy into being the best Brisbane realtor he can be. Slick and hell-bent on a sale, he’s a very convincing house peddler – even if it does involve a few exaggerations here and there.
Bucky puts his all into selling the Heelers’ home to some buyers with impressive fringes. After convincing them that Queensland summers aren’t all that hot, he’s thrilled to deliver some good news to “Banditas, The Big B, Bandito” and family.
Biography[]
Bucky was a kid in Bandit’s grade when he was six. He made a harsh critique of Bandit’s car drawing, causing the latter to give up drawing altogether.
Bandit remarks that he thinks Bucky is a real estate agent now.
In The Sign, Bucky tries to sell the Heelers' house to two sheepdogs. The sheepdogs take the house, but later back out after they see Cornelius' house, which has a pool. He tells Bandit the news, which leads to him cheering and pulling off the for sale sign.
Appearance[]
In his first appearance in "Dragon", due to the simplistic nature of Bandit’s illustration of him, little could be discerned about his appearance as a child except that he had pointed, stand up ears.
A promotional piece for "Ghostbasket" (see #Trivia below) reveals his appearance: he's a slim brown and tan Toy Fox Terrier with pink ears who wears a white suit and black tie. He has a small spot of brown on his tail.
Personality[]
As a child, Bucky seems to have been somewhat lacking in tact, as seen by his blunt remark about Bandit’s drawing of a car.
As an adult, he's quite passionate about his job as a real estate agent, which he takes very seriously. He's also rather chill, smooth-talking, and easygoing, regularly calling Bandit nicknames like "Banditus", "the big B", and "Bandito", something Bandit himself does seem to scorn a bit, likely due still feeling a bit sour about Bucky's past criticism. Despite this, Bucky talks to him casually and in a friendly way. He's also friendly towards the rest of the Heeler family, waving at them whenever he sees them.
