Bob Bilby is the twelfth episode of the first season of Bluey.
Synopsis
It's Bingo's turn to bring the Bob Bilby puppet home from Kindy and record their weekend together. Bob's previous adventures have all been very exciting, so Bingo is keen to make their time just as memorable.[2]
But when Bingo and Bluey spend most of their day showing Bob cartoons and playing games on the tablet, it doesn't look like Bob's having much fun.
Bingo feels like she's let him down and gets upset. But Bluey realises that as long as they do exciting things, Bob will too. Banding together, the family put their screens away and head outdoors to show Bob what having fun is all about.
When it's Bingo's turn to bring her kindy's Bob Bilby puppet home and record their weekend in the scrapbook, the family resolve to put down their screens and attempt to show him a good time.[2]
Episode Recap
Bandit picks Bingo up from kindy, and she has Bob Bilby (the class mascot) to bring home for the weekend.
In the dining room table, Bluey recalls that she got to take Bob home when she was in kindy. The family look through Bob's scrapbook to see, among other things, his trip to Scotland and his karate lessons.
After making Bandit pose as a cow with Bob and Bingo in his back, the girls get distracted showing Bob the functions on their tablet. Chilli snaps a pic of the three of them playing a game on the tablet. Then on the way to the supermarket, rather than playing some car games, the girls demand "cartoons", with another pic on Chilli's phone showing Bluey Bingo and Bob all absorbed in screen time. At the supermarket, the kids, Bob and Chilli all get distracted by the TV sets (with Bandit taking a photo on his phone) and at home, they play more games on the tablet, with one more picture taken.
When Chilli prints out the pictures for Bob Bilby's book, the family disappointingly realize he is just watching screens in every photo. Bingo sees the photo album and runs off in regret. As the family comforts her, Bingo thinks that Bob has had a boring time so far. The family then decides that it's best for them to ditch electronics for a day to make sure Bob has a good time.
All the screens are stashed away in the laundry basket and Bandit gets his old Polaroid camera out of storage. Chilli brings the bikes around and the family go for a bike ride to show Bob a good time - they play at the park, make silly faces and watch some fireworks. Bingo shows the class Bob's exciting (non screen time) adventures with her, and then she gives Bob to his next friend for a sleepover.

Errors
- To the beginning of the episode, Bentley and Missy open the door to the Kindy to let the parents in. However, they are seen sitting with their classmates in the next shot.
- In the scene where Bluey, Bingo and Chilli watch the televisions outside the supermarket, a discoloured maroon Stripe can be seen with Trixie in the background. The couple is later seen at the fireworks scene correctly coloured, confirming that the discolouring was a mistake.
- When Chilli takes a photo on her phone, there is always a flash on the forward facing camera. However, this also includes the selfie camera, where the flash has no use.
- When the scene with Bob Bilby on the bike shows Bingo, Bingo's dark orange fur is missing on her face.
- Trixie's spots and lining change suddenly when she's talking to Stripe.
- When the scene shows the picture of Bingo and Bluey in Stevo's truck, Bingo's hand is the same colour as her arm, and Bluey is in the truck with Bingo, but the colours make her look like Bandit, with the dark fur covering the middle of her face.
