Bluey: Rug Island is an album created by the music team behind Bluey, and is the third album to contain music from the show after the first and second albums. It is slated to release on 25th October 2024[1].

Release[]

On the 2nd August 2024, the first single, Octopus, was released for streaming on Spotify and other streaming platforms.[2] The second single, Onesies, was released on 30 August,[3] four weeks after Octopus. The official release date for the whole album on 25th October 2024.

  • The album was teased[4] by the Bluey Twitter account on July 31, 2024. The teaser shows a background of the watermelon rug and houseplants, with the following message spelled out in marker pens:
    • SOMETHING IS COMING... ♫
  • An album listing[5] was posted to Amazon the same day, confirming the title and tracklist.
  • On the day when Octopus was released as a single, the Bluey.TV website uploaded a character page for Frank, or Chloe's Dad, who is one of the main characters in the title episode.[6]
