Script

The episode opens with an establishing shot of the exterior of Chris and Bob's apartment. The Surfer heads down the embankment towards the beach.

Cut to the interior of the apartment. Bluey and Bingo have set up an elaborate city of blocks, connected with wooden roadways and ribbons, that takes up the entire living room. Bluey and Bingo work on yet another building, as Chris watches from the couch.

Chris: "Whoa, boy, that's special, girls!"

Bluey, Bingo: "Thanks!"

Chris: "What a lot of care you've put into it!"

Chilli enters from the hallway.

Chilli: "Time to go, girls."

Bluey, Bingo: "Mum!"

Cut to the entrance. Chilli walks to the door, followed by Bingo and Bluey. Chris follows a moment later.

Chilli: "Thanks, Nana, we'll see you next Sunday."

Chris: "Oh, yes. Sounds good. Bye girls!"

Bluey, Bingo: "Bye!"

Bluey: "Um, Nana..."

Chris: "Bluey, I know what you're going to say. Yes, I will leave your block tower how it is, so you can keep building next Sunday."

Bluey, Bingo: "Hooray!"

Chilli, Bluey, and Bingo exit.

Cut back to the living room. Chris walks in and looks at the blocks.

Chris: "Oh, dear."

Cut to a shot of a shelf in Chris' apartment with Bandit's graduation photo and a ceramic figure on it.

Title: MONDAY

Weather Lady: (offscreen) "G'day everyone, and thanks for watching."

Cut to the living room. Chris and Bob sit on the couch, watching the weather report. They shift side to side, trying to get a clear look at the television.

Weather Lady: "The water temperature will drop a degree or two..."

Chris: "I can't see... is that a rain cloud?"

Bob: "Uh, I think so..."

Cut to a view of the television from their perspective. An arched block tower is squarely in the middle of the television screen.

Bob: "Ah, I can't see the synoptic chart."

Cut back to a shot of Chris and Bob sitting on the couch.

Bob: "Oh, wait, hang on... Yep, yep, 's definitely a sunny face."

Cut to a shot of the wall decorations.

Title: TUESDAY

Cut to the kitchen. The window shows it is raining. Chris is making tea at the counter. She turns and calls to another room:

Chris: "You want sugar, Bob?"

Bob: (off screen) "Two sugars, yes please."

Chris spoons sugar into the cup. She turns around, and, with a cup of tea in each hand, starts trying to pick her way through the outskirts of the block city, which has also spilled into the kitchen.

Chris: "Oop! Eeeeh..."

Cut to another shot of the photo shelf. Bandit's graduation photo is visible again, as well as a photo of Bluey, Bingo, Muffin, and Socks. Bluey is giving Muffin Bunny ears, which she looks angry about.

Title: WEDNESDAY

Bob is vacuuming the living room with a stick vacuum. He hums along to the music. He ducks under a ribbon."

Bob: <indistinct line> "Knees right... Though he's dunkin'"

His tail hits a block tower, destabilizing it.

Bob: "Oh, no."

The block tower falls. A chain reaction knocks down the entire city. Chris walks in from the balcony.

Chris: "Oh, Bobba."

Cut to a view of the bedroom wall. The headboard of the bed is partly visible, and a triptych of pictures of sailboats hangs over it.

Title: THURSDAY

Chris and Bob sit on the living room floor. Bob is gathering up red blocks; Chris is starting to build a tower out of blue blocks.

Chris: "Pass me a red one, Bobba."

Bob: "Aww, but I need the red ones!"

Chris: "Oh, you've got plenty."

Cut to a shot of the living room floor, next to the coffee table. A small stack of books sits next to the coffee table, with a softcover book showing an offroading 4x4 leaning against it.

Title: FRIDAY

Cut to night in the living room. Bob and Chris put the last blocks onto the last two towers.

Chris: "Ahhh. I think that's it. Well done, Bob."

Bob: "Yeah. Well done, Nana."

Cut to an overhead shot, showing that they have walled themselves into the corner of the room.

Chris: "Oh. How do we get out?

Bob: "Awwww!"

Cut to a shot of a kitchen cupboard. The shelf contains a potted plant, a pair of ceramic owls, two cookbooks, and a binder labeled "Nana's Recipes"

Title: SATURDAY

Cut to the living room. Nana strings a piece of masking tape across the entrance to the living room. Bob enters.

Bob: "What's this?"

Chris: "No one's stepping foot in this room until the kids get here tomorrow.

Bob: "Awww! But I wanna watch the footy."

Cut to a view of the television showing the football game, obstructed by the blocks.

Announcer: "Bingus with an inside-out slider. Oh, he's..."

Cut to a wide shot of the living room. Bob is sitting in a chair, behind the tape line.

Bob: "Is that— have we got the ball or not? Ohh."

Cut back to the first view of the shelf, with Bandit's graduation picture and the ceramic figurine.

Title: SUNDAY

Cut to the entryway. Nana and Bob stand at the door; Nana opens it. Chilli, Bluey, and Bingo are on the other side.

Bluey, Bingo: "Nana!"

Bluey and Bingo run in and hug Chris.

Chris, Bob: "Hey, kids!"

Bluey: "Did you leave our blocks up?"

Chris: "Sure did. Go and take a look!"

Bluey: (simultaneously) "Thanks, Nana!"
Bingo: (simultaneously, hoarsely) "Thanks!"

Bluey and Bingo run off.

Chilli: "Thanks, Chris."

Bingo: (off screen) "Aaah!"

Blocks can be heard falling offscreen.

Cut to the living room, where the last of the city is falling at the end of a chain reaction. Bingo is face down at the edge of the block city. She gets up. Bluey and Bingo both giggle as Chilli, Bob, and Chris enter.

Bluey: "Don't worry, we can start again."

Bingo: "Can you help us, Nana and Bobba?"

Chris: "Sure thing, Bingo. Bobba and I are good at building block towers."

Bob puts his arm around Chris' shoulder and pulls her closer. They share a loving look.
